At KMS Tours & Travels, an AC 12-seater tempo traveller costs ₹25 per km and an AC 17-seater costs ₹28 per km for outstation trips, with a minimum of 300 km per day and driver bata of ₹600–₹700 per day. Non-AC tempo travellers start at ₹22 per km, and Force Urbania premium vans start at ₹31 per km.

An AC 40–45 seater tourist bus costs ₹57 per km and a 49–55 seater costs ₹65 per km, with a minimum of 300 km per day and driver bata of ₹1,200 per day. Non-AC buses start at ₹50 per km. Luxury multi-axle coaches (Volvo, Scania or BharatBenz class) cost ₹96 per km.

A local trip is a round trip from your pickup and back inside Chennai. An AC 12-seater tempo traveller costs ₹5,200 for 8 hours / 80 km or ₹7,200 for 12 hours / 120 km; a 17-seater costs ₹6,200 or ₹8,600. Mini buses start at ₹8,500 for 8 hours. Cars have 6, 8 and 12-hour packages, from ₹1,600 for 6 hours / 60 km. Fuel, driver and driver bata are included; the fare check picks the best package for your times.

Waiting is part of your package hours, so the vehicle waits at the wedding hall, hospital or temple at no extra cost within the package. Beyond the package, the first 15 minutes are free, then waiting is billed by the half hour: ₹500 an hour for a 12-seater tempo traveller and ₹250 an hour for a sedan. Extra km are billed at the vehicle's per-km rate. If the 12-hour package works out cheaper, the fare check uses it.

Yes. Add up to five stops, such as home, temple, hall and studio, and choose "Drop somewhere else" if the trip doesn't end where it started. Time at each stop is part of your hours. When you're dropped elsewhere, the vehicle's run back to your pickup area is counted in the kilometres, and the fare check shows both parts before you book.

Yes. Add stops in the fare calculator before you book and the fare updates with the extra distance. On the road, tell the driver; extra kilometres and hours are billed at the rates in the tariff, and the travel desk confirms the change to you by message.

For 5–7 people choose an Ertiga, Innova or Innova Crysta. For 8–12 people, a 12-seater tempo traveller or 13-seater Urbania. For 13–17 people, a 17-seater tempo traveller or Urbania. For 18–26 people, a mini bus; for 27–35, a 35-seater mini bus; and for 36–55, a 45 or 55-seater tourist bus. With heavy luggage, go one size up.

The per-km fare covers the vehicle, fuel and a professional driver. Driver bata, the driver's daily food and stay allowance, is added per day: ₹500–₹600 for cars, ₹600–₹800 for tempo travellers and Urbania vans, and ₹900–₹1,500 for buses. Tolls, parking, interstate permits and GST are paid at actuals, with receipts. Every estimate from our fare calculator already includes driver bata.

25% of the estimated fare confirms your vehicle (minimum ₹2,000 for cars, ₹5,000 for tempo travellers and ₹10,000 for buses). For peak dates such as the Sabarimala season, Deepavali, Pongal and the Christmas–New Year holidays, the advance is 50%. The balance is paid on the last day of the trip.

Cancel more than 7 days before departure and we refund your advance minus a 10% processing charge. Between 3 and 7 days before departure, 50% of the advance is refunded. Within 72 hours of departure, or for a no-show, the advance is not refundable. Peak-season advances are non-refundable but can be moved to a new date once within 60 days.
